End of NZ season update

The New Zealand season feels like it has finished almost as quickly as it started. I made some big changes to my skiing which I am very excited about and can’t wait to take overseas for the World Cup circuit, with the final push to make Olympic Qualification.

It was great to have the Australian Ski Cross team out in NZ for a month and to show them around my backyard.

Next up was a Ski Cross camp at Cardrona. The track they built was soooo much fun, it took them over a week to build, it had some huge features/ jumps and was attended by ski and snowboard athletes from Australia, USA, Canada, France, Switzerland, Norway and NZ! The camp was run over 2 weeks, with perfect weather the first half and some ‘average’ weather the next, however I ensured I got as many runs in the track as physically possible.

It was great to have the opportunity to play around with the new skills I have learnt and comparing head to head against others. Happy to say that I am skiing fast and when I look back one year, the changes I have made are dramatic.

I will put together a video of some of the action during the camp shortly- watch this space!

One of the TV commercial I was involved in for ‘Glenmorangie Whisky’ is available and I am now allowed to show you. See the video below. All of the skiing shots are me!!

Also have a look at the video review I made for my Helly Hansen Verglas Down Jacket.
