A huge thanks to Jonathon Eaton who has been an awesome supporter and instrumental in assisting me with the process of approaching businesses seeking sponsorship.

I look forward to continuing my relationship with ‘Formthotics’ and ‘Crombie Lockwood’.

Special thanks to Mt Hutt Masters, Petrie Kerr, Alastair Picton-Warlow, Michael Taylor, Tony and Jackie Richards, ‘Phillip Wareings Ltd’ and Catherine Bibbey. It means a lot to know they have belief in my ability and want to be involved in my journey.

October/ November was a busy period with my time spread between fundraising efforts, dryland training and part time work as a builder and landscaper!

I made some big gains in my physical training, thanks to the help of Levi at UC Sport. My training was very structured, calculated and specific. Some weeks, up to 10 sessions a week and other weeks, light with specific rest periods. It is great to continually learn more about smarter training and the results are paying off. Have a look at a video showing some of my exercises. Was excited to complete a new personal best Power Clean of 124kg.

The season started in Canada for the first World Cup of the circuit. Frustratingly I didn’t get the result I was hoping for and ended up in 41st Position. Small adjustment needed and I should be right in there! Have a look at my view down the course, here is a early training video chasing my Australian and USA friends.

Pitztal Glacier- Austria. Lots of snow up at 3800m different story down low!

Europe is currently suffering from an extreme shortage of snow and the 4 World Cup races before Christmas in Italy and France have unfortunately been postponed/ cancelled, really frustrating! This has forced some major changes to my plans and after evaluating all options I have decided to return back to NZ for a few weeks to smash out a heavy physical training block and enjoy a NZ Christmas! I will then be returning to Europe on the 1st for a busy January and February of racing, needless to say I will be ready and waiting!

Fingers crossed for snow to arrive in Europe.

Stay tuned for an refreshed website, and new updates, I will try and keep them nice and short! Make sure you have liked my Facebook Athlete page for regular updates https://www.facebook.com/jamiepreb

Wishing everyone a merry Christmas and happy New Year.

Merry Christmas!
