6th place in a World Cup!!!
It feels amazing to have everything come together and have an awesome result on the board. It shows both myself and others who believed in me, that I can be competitive with the best in the world.
I had been fast in the training days prior, so I had good confidence leading into the race. The racing was close, I stayed patient and made the passes I needed to get through the rounds. The course had a technical start section and the snow was bullet proof ice, thanks to my ski technician- Martin, my skis were sharp and fast!
I am more eager than ever to keep learning, progress further, and get on that podium. The thrill of competing in Ski Cross is hard to beat and I am stoked, pumped, and excited for whatever the future may hold.
The recent Audi FIS SX World Cup race in Are, Sweden, had a field of 53 males from 16 different nations, with virtually all the top 32 world ranked attending, (minus a couple of injured athletes)
It is non stop racing at the moment, yesterday I flew from Sweden to Germany, and today straight into the next double race World Cup in Southern Germany (finals this weekend).
Special thanks to my supporters/ sponsors and the amazing Australian SX team, who have literally adopted me!
Many thanks for the messages, I really appreciate them!
